Lady_Kess Biography

Akua Kesewaa aka Lady Kess started music as a child when her mum was the head of the Anglican Church in Kumasi but she actively took interest in it through her Junior high school days to Secondary where she was the leader of the school choir and music group.

Her 1st album Ma Wani Ngye was released in 2012 but didn’t do so well on the market due to  financial and management issues.

Out spoken songstress Gifty osei heard of her on Adom live worship on Adom Fm two years ago and fell in love with her style of music ministration and hence their collaboration on Lady Kess’s second album, 3nime ny3 adwene to wit agree with me on this one.

Her inspiration comes from real life situations as experienced by herself in the hustle to propagate the gospel of God and life experiences

However her consistent study of the word gives her clues to relate some of her stories to everyday life to inspire people.

She was born and bred at Bibiani Ahwianso(sefwi) in  the Western Region of Ghana to a single mother after her father divorced and abandoned them. She had her basic education at Okomfo Anokye and completed Angel Educational Complex, all in Kumasi.
